Dualism, intrigue and… the 2007 vintage
The Macallan Diamonds Are Forever 55th Anniversary Release is no ordinary whisky – it's a spirit whose story begins with symbolism instantly recognisable to any fan of the series. This exceptional single malt was distilled in 2007, a nod to the iconic number 007. The whisky then matured for 18 years, gaining a depth worthy of the finest film scripts. In creating this edition, Whisky Maker Russell Greig opted for innovation that perfectly reflects the dual nature of the British agent. The heart of the edition is based on hybrid casks, a unique combination of European and American oak seasoned with sherry. Rounding off the blend were red wine casks – an extremely rare addition at The Macallan distillery. This choice was no accident; it directly references the film's plot, in which Bond's expert knowledge of wines ultimately saved his life.

Vegas-style aesthetics
