Glen Moray 21yo Eligin Heritage, Port Wood /46,3%/ – In the fall of 2016 Glen Moray Distillery launched Elgin Heritage Collection featuring three single malts – 12, 15 and 18 years old. The 21 years old Port Wood Finish expression was added to the range three years later. The whisky spent 19 years in American oak barrels then was transferred into ex-port casks for additional two years. Egin Heritage range is a brainchild of Glen Moray master distiller Graham Coull, who was involved in cask selection as well as in the bottle design; his signature figures on each of bottles and boxes. Glen Moray Distillery is owned by the French drink company La Martiniquaise and after an expansion completed in 2016 produces 5.7 million liters of spirit per annum. Glen Moray malt is an important component of Label 5 and Sir Edward’s blends.
