New scotch for tasting in Wrocław
AnCnoc Single Malt Whisky Peatheart / 46% – Knockdhu Distillery, producer of anCnoc single malt, is rather not associated with heavily peated whiskies. In 2003 however, it started using peated malt and today about 20% of the annual output is distilled from barley malted up to specification of 45ppm phenols. AnCnoc Peated Collection was introduced in 2014 and included four initial expressions – Rutter, Cutter, Flaughter and Tushkar – with additional expressions being added every year. Peatheart joined the pack in 2017; the whisky was distilled from malt with phenols’ content of 40ppm, aged in white American oak barrels and bottled at 46% abv.
