Benromach 11 years old (D.2009, B.2021) Germany Exclusive /48%/ –
Benromach, the smallest commercial distillery in Speyside, sits on the outskirts of Forres. The recent upgrades increased its capacity by 40%, to 700,000 liters per annum. Since 1993 the distillery has been operating under the ownership of Gordon & MacPhail, the leading independent whisky bottling company. The owners masterfully developed the brand and built extremely attractive product range. Here we have Benromach distilled in 2009 and aged solely in first fill bourbon barrels for over 11 years. Bottled at 48% and without chill-filtration at 48% in 2021 exclusively for the German market with an outrun of 1198 bottles.
