Glenfarclas Heritage Cask Strength /60%/ – A cask strength version of the Heritage malt, introduced in 2010 for the French market. The Heritage edition is a tribute to six generations of Grants, their whisky making skills and accomplishments. Cask strength version is bottled at 60% abv, just like very popular Glenfarclas 105. The main difference between them is cask selection – 105 is aged exclusively in ex- sherry casks, while Heritage is a vatting of first fill and refill ex-sherry and refill ex-bourbon casks. Consequently, the latter shows stronger spicy notes and less sherry influence.
