The Walking Dead Kentucky Straight Bourbon /47%/ – In late 2018, Diageo, in cooperation with HBO Inc., released a Game of Thrones whisky range featuring eight single malts, each paired with one of the iconic Houses of Westeros and the Night’s Watch, giving fans a taste of the Seven Kingdoms and beyond. Just a year later, Diageo combined forces with Skybound Entertainment and offered The Walking Dead Bourbon, whiskey based on post-apocalyptic horror T.V. series based on a comic book series of the same title. The four years old bourbon was sourced from an undisclosed distillery (rumor has it that it was Heaven Hill) and bottled at 47% abv.

Nose: caramel, maple syrup, vanilla, black cherries, prunes, roasted peanuts, a sprig of mint, hints of leather, and toasted oak.
Palate: follows the nose, vanilla, caramel, peanut butter, toffee, prunes, toasted oak, mulling spice, and a touch of tobacco.
Finish: medium long, with notes of vanilla, caramel, maple syrup, dark fruits, a dash of cinnamon, and oak.
