The edition was created in collaboration with New Zealand artist Bonnie Brownwhose illustrations transport us to the coast of the southern hemisphere. The warm pastel colours and delicate lines tell of gatherings by the fire, of laughter, of that extraordinary light that spills over the horizon.

The Macallan A Night on Earth - The First Light has matured in the European and American oak sherry casks, and in selected bourbon barrels.
It is this marriage of barrels that creates a flavour full of contrasts:
warmth and freshness, the creamy sweetness of vanilla and toffee, intermingled with notes of fruit, citrus and honey.
In a glass it delights the colour of deep golden sand - Like the sun reflecting in the morning waves.
The aroma has notes of butter biscuit, orange peel, liquid caramel and subtle spices.
