Our first Bruichladich barrel!

Do you know that the first Bruichladdich barrel in Poland was bottled exclusively for our Dom Whisky ?!
Bruichladdich 10 years old (D. 2009), Merlot Cask Aged, Dom Whisky Edition / 63,9% / – The whisky presented here has a special meaning for us; it is our first exclusive bottling of Bruichladdich and the first bottling dedicated only for polish market. The whisky was distilled in December 2009 under stewartship of Jim McEwan and aged in French red wine cask (Merlot) for over a decade. Bottled at natural strength of 63.9% abv exclusively for Dom Whisky with an outrun of 282 bottles.

Nose: sea breeze and red fruit, raspberries, currants, rhubarb pie, orange peel, vanilla, butterscotch, cocoa powder, dash of black pepper and oak.

Palate: malted barley, buttered toast, mixed berries marmalade, toffee, milk chocolate, black tea, dash of allspice and nicely integrated oak.

Finish: medium long, with notes of red berries, chocolate, dash of sea salt and pepper and subtle oaky dryness.
