Glenfiddich Fire & Cane / 43% / – Fire & Cane was introduced in the summer of 2018 as the fourth installment of Experimental Series following Glenfiddich IPA Experiment and Glenfiddich Project X (both launched 2016) and Glenfiddich Winter Storm (launched 2017). Fire & Cane is a vatting of peated whisky distilled “when Brian Kinsman, the current Malt Master, was an apprentice” and signature sweet and fruity Glenfiddich, all originally aged in ex-bourbon barrels. The whisky was then transferred into rum casks sourced from various South American producers for additional three months. Glenfiddich Fire & Cane is bottled in a colored glass that changes from a dark base to clear glass displaying the whisky. It was designed to highlight the contrasting flavors through colors.
