Bladnoch Distillery Samsara / 46,7%/ – In 2014 the judge ordered liquidation of Bladnoch Distillery due to major and unsolvable dispute between two owners and very few believed that three years later the distillery would celebrate its 200th Anniversary. Just months later it was acquired by David Prior, the Australian entrepreneur, who made its fortune in the dairy industry. It took about two years to restore the distillery but in the summer of 2017 it was distilling whisky again. In November 2016 three new expressions – Samsara, Adela and Talia – were launched in Australia and soon after in the other markets. Samsara (“Rebirth” in Hindu) is a No Age Statement whisky, a vatting of Bladnochs matured in first fill ex-bourbon barrels and in first fill Californian red wine casks.
