House of Hazelwood 21 years old / 40%In the late 2015 William Grant & Sons unveiled the House of Hazelwood, a range of three ultra-premium blended whiskies dedicated to the Grant family luminary Janet Sheed Roberts (1901-2012). She lived in Hazelwood House, an art-deco property located close to Glenfiddich distillery, and is remembered as an ‘elegant woman with extraordinary spirit’. The main components of the blend come from Kininvie and Girvan distilleries, with part of them being aged in European oak ex-sherry casks. The brand presentation echoes the 1920s and each of the three inaugural expressions is inspired by different city. House of Hazelwood 21 years old is presented in 500ml decanter inspired by the beauty of Mumbai in the 1920s.
