Lismore The Legend 21 years old / 43% – Lismore is a little obscured whisky brand named after a small island off the west coast of Scotland. The brand is owned by William Lundie & Co. Ltd established in the 1950s by the Lundie brothers, John and William. The company does not disclose the identity of single malts bottled under the Lismore brand. All we know is that in 2004 William Lundie & Co was acquired by J.&G. Grant, the owners of Glenfarclas Distillery, and has been operating as its subsidiary. Lismore The Legend has been released annually in limited quantities. The 2016 edition was limited to only 300 bottles and contains whisky aged in ex-sherry hogsheads for over 21 years.
