Glenfiddich Gran Cortes XXII Sherry Cask Finish /44,3%/ – In the fall of 2019 Glenfiddich Distillery launched Grand Cru 23 years old expression, first in the new ‘Grand’ range, that will continue with new releases throughout the next several years. According to Brian Kinsman, Glenfiddich Malt Master ‘the Grand series perfectly encapsulates Glenfiddich’s spirit of innovation and the company ability to experiment with aged liquid and intriguing finishes’. Glenfiddich Gran Cortes XX was released in the late 2020. The whisky is named after the grand palaces in Spain and after being aged in American oak barrels was finished in rare Palo Cortado sherry casks from Andalucía. Gran Cortes XXII has been created for customers in China and Taiwan and is presented in handsome sherry-red box.
