New whisky for tasting in Wrocław

Caribou Crossing Single Barrel Canadian Whisky /40%/ – Caribou Crossing is one of almost 30 Canadian whisky brands produced by Sazerac Company of New Orleans. It was launched in 2010 and remains one of just a handful of Canadian super premium whiskies. Sazerac’s claim that it is “the world’s first single barrel Canadian whisky” is not entirely correct; in our opinion the forerunner of that category was Bush Pilot’s bottled in the late 1990s. Sazerac’s inventory of Canadian whisky is enormous; they have over 200,000 barrels in warehouses. Caribou Crossing is bottled twice a year (spring and fall) at the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Kentucky. The brand presentation is quite unique and emphasizes its Canadian heritage with maple topper and blue wax seal.
