Glenfarclas The Family Casks 2002, Bottled 2018 / 57,8% / –
The original Family Casks Collection was released in 2007 and comprised whiskies from the best casks from the distillery’s warehouses, bottled at cask strength and of natural color. The collection included 43 different bottlings, with one for each year from 1952 to 1994. The Family Casks are unique and we are not aware of any other collection of old and rare whiskies that covers 43 consecutive years from the same distillery. Glenfarclas 2002 presented here is a continuation of the ambitious project, a part of the renowned Family Cask range. The whisky was aged in ex-sherry butt # 3773 for about 16 years and bottled at natural strength of 57.8% abv on December 6, 2018 with an outrun of 704 bottles.
