Ben Nevis McDonald’s Traditional / 46% / –
Ben Nevis Distillery was founded in 1825 by Long John MacDonald and until 1941 operated under his family ownership. Currently is owned by the Japanese Company Nikka and about 30% of the annual output is send to Japan to be part of Nikka blends. Ben Nevis MacDonald’s Traditional was launched in 2011 in celebration of the distillery 185th anniversary and the following year scored gold medal at International Wine and Spirit Competition. The whisky is an attempt to replicate the style of Ben Nevis from the 1880s.
