Highland Park Triskelion / 45,1%/ – Triskelion is a creation of three legendary Highland Park whisky makers with combine experience of 108 years – Gordon Motion (21 years), Max McFarlane (44 years) and John Ramsay (43 years). They selected three principal cask types: first fill sherry seasoned Spanish oak butts, first fill sherry seasoned American oak casks and first fill bourbon barrels to explore the influence of wood and cask seasoning on the flavor and character of whisky (a small number of refill casks was added to provide a degree of softness). The whisky is named after the triangular shape that represents wisdom and inspiration in Norse mythology. It also symbolizes three Master Whisky Makers that played an important role at the distillery.
