Glen Mhor 1965 (Bottled 2007) Rare Vintage, Gordon & MacPhail Whisky / 43%/ – Glen Mhor Distillery established in 1892 was the youngest of the three distilleries operating in Inverness (the other two were Millburn, est. 1807 and Glen Albyn, est. 1846). The distillery was equipped with three stills – two wash and one spirit still – and the maximum annual output was 1 million liters of spirit. By 1983 the distillery became too inefficient to operate and DCL, facing enormous whisky glut, decided to cease production. For years Gordon & MacPhail has been the licensed bottler for Glen Mhor single malt. The 1965 Vintage released in 2007 was part of G&M Rare Vintage range.
