New irish whiskey for tasting in Warsaw

Redbreast 25 years old Single Pot Still LMDW 60th Anniversary / 53%/In 2016 the famous Parisian whisky retailer La Maison du Whisky celebrated its 60th Anniversary. The company was founded in 1956 by Georges Bénitah and has established itself as one of the largest French specialists in the importing and distributing of rare whiskies. To commemorate the event LMDW has selected 150 exclusive bottlings from around the world. The one presented here is a true gem, 1991 single pot still whiskey matured in first fill ex-sherry cask (no. 42972) at the Midleton Distillery warehouse # M16A for 25 years. Only 624 bottles of this cask strength whiskey (53% abv) were produced and we believe it is the oldest Redbreast expression ever bottled.
