New rare whisky for tastng in Warsaw
The Macallan 1962 (80º proof) / 45,71%/ 0,75l – Deservingly or not Macallan is the most cherished whisky brand, and it took about 50 years to earn such title. In the late 1950s the company directors decided on expansion and relying more on sales of single malt. The promotional campaign emphasized that sprit has been matured exclusively in sherry casks. In subsequent years the success of the brand has been remarkable, there is no serious whisky collection without several expressions of Macallan, the brand holds the record of the most expensive whisky ever sold ($ 460,000). Here we have Macallan from the different era, no crystal decanters, no flashy presentation, just MACALLAN SINGLE MALT. Whisky distilled in 1962 was aged in ex-sherry casks and bottled at 40 British Proof in the late 1970s/early 80s. Unquestionable gem in our collection.
